KaSaka: Farm Manager PH ("the app") is a farm management app for Filipino farmers, published by MAK-CT Construction OPC ("we"). This policy explains what data the app handles.
Summary: your farm records stay on your phone — we never upload or sell them. A few features share limited technical data (location for weather and satellite imagery, device identifiers for ads) as described below.
Everything you enter in KaSaka — fields, croppings, tasks, expenses, harvests, sales, worker records, settings, and your chosen farm location — is stored locally on your device. It is never uploaded to our servers. If you uninstall the app, this data is deleted with it. We recommend exporting or noting important records before uninstalling.
Some features contact the internet when signal is available: (a) weather — Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) receives the approximate coordinates of the town or field location you choose, to return the forecast; (b) crop health (Pro) — our service (abundance.mak-ct.com) receives the field boundary you pinned, to generate a satellite vegetation snapshot; (c) feedback and error reports — if you tap Send Feedback, your message plus technical details (app version, device model, screen size, language, recent error messages) are sent to our service so we can fix problems. If the app encounters an error, a small automatic report with the same technical details (and no message, no farm records, no personal data) may be sent at most once per day; you can turn this off anytime in More → Automatic error reports. Your farm records are never uploaded. Standard technical data (such as IP address) is processed transiently by these services to deliver the response, as with any internet request.
KaSaka does not require an account, phone number, or email. We have no user database.
The free version of KaSaka may show ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID) and use them as described in Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's data practices. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. The optional Pro subscription removes ads.
Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see your payment details.
KaSaka is a farming utility intended for adults (18+). It is not directed at children.
We will update this page when the policy changes and note the date above. Material changes will be mentioned in the app's update notes.
